What We Do

The Israel Bridge empowers Israeli student-athletes to succeed academically and athletically in the United States while serving as proud ambassadors for Israel. As elite competitors—mentally tough, physically strong, and constantly in the spotlight—they are uniquely positioned to confront antisemitism, build cultural bridges, and inspire pride in Jewish identity on U.S. college campuses.

Since 2006, The Israel Bridge has strengthened educational and cultural ties between Israel and the American Jewish community, securing over $30 million in scholarships for hundreds of Israeli students at more than 200 universities, including Ivy League schools. We envision a future where these student-athletes lead with dignity, represent Israel with pride, and foster meaningful connections across cultures.

Our Board Members

Ross Greenstein

BOARD MEMBER & FOUNDER

Ross Greenstein is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with a strong track record in sports, education, branding, and real estate. Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Ross attended Hopkins High School before earning a tennis scholarship to the University of Florida.

After college, he founded Scholarship For Athletes (SFA), a company dedicated to guiding high school athletes and their families through the college recruiting process—a service born from his own experience as a student-athlete.

In 2006, while expanding SFA to Israel, Ross discovered a need for more ethical and effective recruiting guidance for Israeli athletes. He partnered with Dan Aronovic to create The Israel Bridge, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to helping Israeli athletes secure scholarships at U.S. colleges and successfully integrate into their new communities.

In 2018, Ross co-founded Brand Sauce, a company that designs and manages custom brand merchandise stores for businesses. He is also a principal at Stratford Partners, a private real estate investment firm focused on the acquisition and repositioning of multifamily properties.

Vic Greenstein

CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

Vic Greenstein, Chair of the Board and longtime Director of Operations at The Israel Bridge, has dedicated over 20 years to supporting Israeli athletes in the U.S. A proud Palm Beach Gardens “snowbird,” Vic is known for his generous spirit, leadership, and passion for sports.

A Minneapolis native, Vic was inducted into Southwest High School’s Hall of Fame for his achievements in football, basketball, and baseball. He went on to play college football on scholarship at the University of North Dakota.

Vic and his wife Melanie, married since 1971, raised two children, Keri and Ross, with a strong commitment to hard work and tzedakah. He has also been a devoted booster of the University of Minnesota Men’s Tennis Team, hosting players and cheering them on.

Outside his volunteer work, Vic enjoyed a successful 40+ year career as a stockbroker, ultimately leading Stifel Nicolaus’ Minnesota division. Whether biking 50 miles, playing tennis or golf, or coaching his kids, Vic brings energy and heart to everything he does—including his unwavering support for Israel and the Jewish people.

Keri (Greenstein) Greenwald

BOARD MEMBER

Keri, a real estate agent, is a repeat Top Performer at Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty. A Minneapolis native, Keri’s love of all aspects of real estate stemmed from her family’s background in development.

 

After graduating from Emory University, she worked in consulting at Goldman Sachs and Georgia-Pacific and sold apartments in the investment sales division of Cushman & Wakefield.

Beyond real estate, Keri is recognized for her philanthropic contributions, earning accolades such as the Star of David Award from Israel Bonds and the Atlanta Jewish Times’ 40 Under 40 award.

Don Brockhaus

BOARD MEMBER

A seasoned leader with decades of experience in finance, sales, and entrepreneurship, Don has built a career across major corporations and startups. With hobbies that include golf, biking, running, and swimming, Don is also an avid athlete.

Vice President Providing On-site receivable support for Law Firms, CPA firms and service type businesses.

Total Business Solutions: 19 Years

President & Owner – Started business providing on-site support and software for Law Firms and private secondary education institutions.  Transitioned business to providing Higher Education Institutions with customized software related to student loans.  Our business model provided software for creating student loan terms and conditions, student loan disclosure documents required by the DOE, monitoring payments, educating students, call center support and development of required reporting requirements.

Lindsay Greenwald

BOARD MEMBER

Lindsay Greenwald brings a remarkable blend of initiative, leadership, and communication skills to any nonprofit board. As the founder of the “Birthday Project,” she demonstrated strategic planning and fundraising capabilities by launching a campaign to support refugee children in Israel, successfully raising $10,000.

 

Her leadership within BBYO—including serving as Regional President overseeing 13 chapters and directing international communications—highlights her ability to manage large teams, create viral content, and execute high-impact events.

Lindsay has also co-founded mentorship programs, served as a student leader in business and service organizations, and interned at Aprio, a national advisory and accounting firm.

Beginning Fall 2025, she will attend the University of Colorado Boulder in the prestigious Business Honors Program, continuing her development as a purpose-driven and business-minded leader.

Matt Rinkey

BOARD MEMBER

Matt Rinkey is the Founder of Illumination Wealth, a virtual family office that helps entrepreneurs achieve financial clarity and maximize the returns on their financial life. He brings decades of experience working with business owners and real estate investors to navigate complex planning decisions with intention and purpose.

Matt’s early involvement in sports and competitive tennis, including participating in the Maccabiah Games, helped instill the discipline and focus he brings to his work today. His connection to Israel has deepened through meaningful visits and relationships built over the years.

Now living in San Diego, Matt spends much of his time outside of work with his family, often on the sidelines coaching or watching his kids’ teams.

Keren Rosenberg

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Keren brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit world, with past roles at Tel Aviv Medical Center, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) in Jerusalem, United Way in Wisconsin, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.
Originally from Tel Aviv, she moved to the U.S. over a decade ago and now lives in Atlanta with her husband, Amit, and their three children. Keren holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Social Work from Tel Aviv University, graduating with honors. Her favorite sport since childhood is gymnastics—something she still enjoys practicing to this day. “It’s an honor for me to serve an organization that deeply cares about representing Israel. I truly believe Israeli student-athletes are the best ambassadors we have on campus—not only because they’re talented, but because they are strong, mentally and physically. Dan Aronovic

HEAD OF THE ISRAEL BRIDGE IN ISRAEL

Dan Aronovic grew up in Princeton, New Jersey, playing on the nationally ranked tennis team at the University of Michigan. Between 1984-88, he served as a Volunteer Assistant Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach at Princeton University.

 

After spending time in Israel between 1981 and 1983 working for the Israel Tennis Centers after graduating college, he decided to make Aliyah at the end of December 1988. Since making Aliyah, Dan has worked for the Israel Tennis Centers and in high-tech marketing and sales, in addition to working with top Israeli athletes with The Israel Bridge. He is married to Nancy, the father of three girls (Stephanie, Allison, and Margo), and grandfather to four boys and three girls.

Dan continues to be active in sports and remains one of the top-ranked men’s master’s tennis players in his age group. He has participated and represented Israel in every Maccabiah Games as a tennis player since 1989, winning gold, silver, and bronze medals. Dan coaches tennis and baseball part-time at the American International School while managing operations of The Israel Bridge since 2004, helping over 300 Israeli athletes find athletic scholarships to schools in the US.
